ELR ADVANCED LED MODULE
ELR LED modules can be combined with a range of fixtures to achieve a powerful lighting solution. Their long lifespan and extreme brightness makes it perfect for residential applications, as well as large spaces such as airports, malls and other commercial spaces. Installation is easy in many existing housings, as well as the ELR fixture ranges.

light which is in-par with 50 Watts MR16 halogen
- LED MODULE
The range of ELR’s NEST LED modules is manufactured using high quality LED chips with LM80 and TM-21 proven lifetime. Colour consistency has been controlled within 3 MacAdam steps and provides selection of colour temperature from 2700K to 5000K, with Ra~95.
The NEST module is available in 3 beam widths; 10°, 20° and 38° for maximum versatility.
- LED DRIVER
To achieve a compact size whilst still maintaining a safe operation temperature, the NEST has an integral high efficient AC/DC LED driver located within an innovative isolated thermal compartment. This ensures that is achieves >50K hours of operation. The NEST is phase dimmable using either leading or trailing edge dimmers.
- LOCAL DIMMING PORT
The NEST has a simple dimming port to enable local dimming from 100% to 1% within a lighting fixture.
A range of beam angles are available for ELR LED modules providing the correct illumination for a wide variety of applications. ELR’s downlight range feature rotationally symmetrical light distribution providing excellent uniformity. Asymmetrical and light-bending optics are available for wall-washing applications.
MULTI FACETED TOTAL INTERNAL REFLECTION (MFTIR™)
Direct light reflection film reflects light outside the desired beam angle back in to the lens medium and using total internal reflection bends and redirects the lights towards the desired narrow beam angle.
The Internal cavity slope bends light to a precise angle to hit the total internal reflection surface.
A second internal cavity surface, takes care the widest light angles from the LED and convert it to usable light increasing the total efficacy of the optical system.
Computer calculated total internal reflection surfaces bend and reflect the light to create a uniform narrow beam spot.
Light exit surfaces have final control of the quality of light and increase the uniformity of light spots.
The NEST is available as standard with phase dimming control or with the use of a local interface can be used with 0-10V or DALI control systems.
ATePS™ – AUTOMATED THERMAL PROTECTION SYSTEM
ATePS™ proactively monitors the temperature of the LED module during operation. Should the temperature exceed safe working thresholds due to environmental or poor installation conditions, the system automatically regulates the LED engine’s temperature through algorithmic fine tuning of output power without any user intervention.
